Hi, I'm Julie

I am a self taught artist dividing my time between Leigh-on-Sea in Essex and Woodbridge in Suffolk.
I love variety so I create in various mediums. I am inspired by colour, beauty and the emotions invoked by the visual experience of nature. My aim is for people to experience the joy of a Summer sunrise or the peace of a beautiful estuary through paintings.
My story
I turned down a place at art college at 16 because I wanted to travel and I could only see a future of teaching with an art degree. Now, travelling and teaching are my favourite things to do!. I am passionate about helping others to discover their own inner artist and get such a thrill from seeing people discover the joy and mental wealth of creating art.
Following a 30 year corporate career, redundancy gave me the opportunity to focus full time on my passions.
